1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Ahh, you mentioned Roshes so I thought you wanted something that just looks better.

How about some chucks? A few hate it but I think some of the JV cons looks good.

Well, how about being more specific? I can throw hundreds of sneakers suggestions here within your price range.

If you like the Welcome x CP then just get one of vintage Nike runners or some Air Max or some NB.

I never see them for sale anymore, but Generic Man in the past has had some clean looking black and white low tops that are a little less minimalist than the usual CP option

Ugh, Generic Man finally showed up on Gilt again, and every single one of them is absolute garbage.
I agree they used to make some decent stuff, I don't know what happened.

That's unfortunate, I remember contemplating some of their white low-tops at one point in the past. I never see them being sold on any websites though

*edit: I always liked these for some reason

Hah yeah sorry, probably should have been more specific as you say, but not really sure what to say since I've been looking for a pair myself for quite some time.
I guess I want something monochrome, low and slightly sporty?
Was looking at monochrome OG nike's while I read your post, some of them are actually pretty cool

Ye think I've seen those before iirc, but prefer CPs over them (been looking at the tournament highs at la garconne)

Why so ugly details on the Claes, they really wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for the purple tab and sole

Also, there's a chance these could turn out cool: http://greatsbrand.com/

haha I've pretty much only been wearing dress pants (neil barrett/ute/one pair of slim cut yohji) and dress shirts for a pretty down to earth fit. I save the yohji for the weekends and even then with the heat its just been the linen pants and a linen shirt or t shirt with shorts

Allen Edmonds exploring sale of the company. I wonder how much it's valued at.

KOY if you want cp-like beaters just get CP Or Svennsson on sale. The leather lining will make them last, and you'll actually be able to "beat" on them without worrying. If you want canvas, get something cheap, but be aware that they'll fall apart. There are a bunch of classic Nike court shoes around that I'm sure RFX can show you. Or get some surplus army trainers, which are actually pretty durable if you don't count the insole.
