So sick of hearing the word 'essential', used in marketing and publications.

It's a very essential to say essential otherwise people won't think its essential and buy it.

In the caribbean no, but I have a window when I am back in Florida of about 2-3 weeks when I can get away with a leather jacket. I have a Viscose 5Zip that is very nice for this time and I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a leather one in the near future, just haven't found the right color yet

I just recently rewatched the seventh seal. I had seen it when I was a kid and really liked it. Was even better now.

Just got back from a 10-day road trip with a buddy that was moving out to Boulder for grad school. I got to climb lots of mountains (but holy shit at that thin air you guys have out west), see some beautiful national parks, go to my first rodeo (which was really fun yet also terrifyingly hokey-patriotic; I see you guys have already had a fun conversation about that), and see the place that Synth and Spope call home.

Our resident Spacepope recommended I check out some local places of interest, for which I'm very grateful. I left behind some hidden treasure for him in the confines of a poetry shop named after a line from a Yeats poem; hopefully he will put it to good use once he discovers what object lies before the onward march of his destiny.

they look good when in context or in groups. other than that I only think they look good when obviously redesigned, like those with leather sleeves, no logo, etc (btw I'm also not north american)

probably will not look as good if one's body's not as athletic or face not youthful.. meaning when you get older it will look unnatural fast.

They started coming back on trend maybe four or five years ago, after it started being OK again to wear a shorter jacket with a ribbed waist. It's probably about time they cycle out.

I'm 32 and still wear one (no branding or letters).

Not that I look anything like Slimane, but this pic always reminds me they can look good. I don't know when it's from, but 2009 or earlier.
