1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Ah yes, regular cops don't carry guns in England. And private ownership of guns is all but prohibited. Fun times.

Don't be ridiculous; private gun ownership could not possibly have done anything but aggravate the situation. They didn't attack anyone else -- an armed unit came and killed them (with guns). The regular cops might have intervened a bit sooner if better prepared, but civilians (women at least) talked directly to the perpetrators without further incident. Your comment is asinine and inappropriate though it might have been warranted by another, similar, easily imagined situation.

Anyway, my intent wasn't to start up about gun control so I won't take it any further.

Most europeans aren't allowed to carry knifes with blades over 7 cm either and people still get killed from stabbings, so if everyone had a knife know one would die from being stabbed, right.

You don't ever have to apologize for watching a Jason Statham movie. There's nothing wrong with wanting to crack open a cold one and watch people get their asses kicked for 90 min.

Your ignorance is astounding and no doubt linked to the mushy weak willed government ruling your homeland. You've been robbed of the opportunity to understand that only a completely free market (the type of environment where anyone is afforded the opportunity to carry any weapon they like) is the only true way to promote the safety of all its inhabitants.

Can we talk about Jason Statham Movies instead?

    Like how great Cranked was?

Or how Transporter 2 had quite a bit of gay subtext?

Cranked or Crank? Crank is awesome and Crank 2: High Voltage is on another plane and will be inspiring filmmakers 20 years from now.

I love JS movies, but the whole Transporter franchise is flawed. The first 30 min of the first one is pretty good, but the rest is pretty shite. Just watched Safe last week and pleasantly surprised.

Reedo should put up a huge print of August Friedrich Schenck's "Anguish"

come to think of it that's a print I'd actually be into.

Does anyone else remember the brand 45 rpm? I fell in love with the brand when I visited a store in Japan many years ago, and promised to myself that I will deck out in its exotic indigo goodness one day.
Fast forward to this morning, bored, I visited online stores that stock the brand, and now its all boring collection of clothing soaked in indigo. Half the stuffs are now made in China/India, but the price stayed the same, if not went up.
Then I looked up previous collections, only to realize they were never that awesome as I remembered it to be. :violin:
I am so lost.. what loose-fitting life style Japanese brand am I going to wear for the summer?

    womens collection is still cool

Mordecai's posted his apt, there's some cool stuff in there, there's a thread about places that is mostly populated by MC guys with Barcelona chairs and magazine-approved apts but some outliers are interesting.
