1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Time to post in the contentedness thread?

I have a soft spot for this movie. It's funny to think how big the boys in the film blew up while the women have sort of been just getting by.

I totally agree with you. I really like vintage Speedmasters for this reason. Very simple watches that tell me the time and maybe the date.

The Shinola is too expensive for what it is.

I'm wearing an Omega SM300 currently (it's on a bracelet now).

Hopefully a JLC MUT Moon Phase is in my future as a dress watch.

My wrists aren't weak they are just small and it's annoying as fuck.

I had a girl try on my watch one day and she couldn't close the buckle. :plain:

I know that it actually is, but I got it as a gift and it works well with sidezip-fits (which is about 50% of the time), probably helps that I usually wear shirts when wearing it too

Hah realized that part maybe wasn't very clear [IMG]
About 50% of the time I wear fits with sidezips and almost always a shirt/knit with them, and with those kind of fits that watch looks good
The other 50% I wear my sneakers and then I almost never wear shirts/knits, usually just hoodies/sweatshirts/tees, and with those outfits I almost always wear my g-shock.
So like, I have two pretty different aestethics I switch between and that watch works well for one of them [IMG]

edit: just realized it was grammatically incorrect, fixed it now

Agreed. However most people aren't conditioned/used to being alert all the time. With common sense you'll hardly come into trouble. Like you said if something happens apogologize and don't start shit.

Oh and go to Riviera Maya/Cancun it's awesome, even if its full of tourists. Very safe as well.
