1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

If the measurements on Rakuten are right, apparently the leather I picked up the other day is 21" in length.

    Woops.

Some things from COS are really good, some not so much. I'd say it's quite important to see stuff in person before buying. I only bought 2 basic tees from them this season... not really impressed by much else.

Yeah, I've been meaning to try the majority of those designers (Damir/Silent especially) so I guess I'll just keep an eye out on B&S/Y!JP.
I got these pants from COS recently, yet to arrive but they look like they'll work nicely.

OK so I just moved into my old house and am attempting to entirely up my room game. I literally have no art, anyone have good recs for places to find high quality prints (framed/not) or actually nice real paintings for reasonable prices?

Also...Where the hell do I find a persian rug (10'x5'?) for cheap?

Etsy has some cool art. I have some of those "he wears it" prints/watercolours?? From John woo
It's basically stalwarts characters in fashunzzz
But they're very minimal/stark and I don't think you're going for minimal if you want a cozy Persian rug

My friend makes these cool space painting with acrylic and spray paint. I can ask if he's willing to sell them :D

I am preparing for a trip to Nigeria next week. Will be there for about 2 weeks developing fabrics for ties. Pretty anxious about it. [IMG]

if you want prints, check out http://www.art.com/. for real paintings, don't know of an online source. most stuff you can buy cheap online is not good anyway. just go to ikea or places like that for a rug. you don't want to buy an actual persian rug (first off, even a small one is really expensive) because you're probably going to trash it anyway at this point.
