    My grandma used to take art lessons from lichtenstein. Apparently he's a pretty humble dude.

    I've also got a pretty dope t-shirt from the museum in barcelona I think? I've started wearng grpahic tees again under my leather and it's gone back into rotation..

    All his stuff was drawn by other ppl, though, actual comic book artists. He just changed up a couple color dots in some instances. Pretty weak artist (even if a nice guy,..)

    really? i once saw some photography by someone who worked for him and she documented him working on big scale paintings. the most memorable pic was him on a ladder..

    It's pop art. It's a reflection of mass culture. It's not supposed to be original.

    Yeah, I get the flimsy argument behind the theft; it just sucks for the people who made the compelling images, who aren't credited, and who didn't receive their zillions.
