1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I have a morbid desire to try on those ripped jeans with the chain accents. Plenty of time between now and then to not eat.

What's insulting is that your size 54 Balenciaga coat is too small for me.

This pisses me off also. I check it every once in awhile in the odd false hope that it may have changed sizes.

thought today that if I could work that weird plaid Damir just showed into a Dries outfit it might look sorta cool. could channel that Dries women's ss13 collection.

edit: on second thought, maybe just best to avoid it altogether

    Perfect fit?
We're both tall and decently built so while the length of the tee is good, don't you find them very tight in the arms and shoulders? I guess you take an XL in them, which is one size up from me, but you're also bigger in all dimensions.

I find the fitted arms and shoulders and wide neckline coupled with bunching fabric at the waist unflattering. Gives a weird silhuette / proportions which narrows my upper body and widens my hips.

Yeah, they're tight in the shoulders and arms but so is essentially every T-shirt unless I want them billowing about my waist. It's nothing that a few tugs to stretch the fabric out won't solve though. The extra body length more than makes up for any such minor inconvenience.

Hmm the fashion show I'm producing tonight has a few male designers (albeit for womenswear) and none of their suits show any short cuff. Very surprised.

Edit - its a corset fashion show, I'll post the video next week.

I really like jack straw, honestly. Not all their stuff is what I like, but the shop's great.

The shop is awesome and the owner is incredible, no question. If what they carried was to my taste would absolutely be shopping there regularly.

I assume they'll have their own product images soon. Totokaelo has a big presence in womenswear and is in a cool retail spot, so them getting into menswear will be nice - I hope they don't fall back on just Rick Owens/MMM/etc though. Article in the nytimes from not long ago: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/02/fashion/with-web-sites-local-boutiques-grow.html

Jack Straw should have another good season for SS13 with Ann D being added back, and they will supposedly carry more small sizes. It's the only place in town I like these days.

Blackbird is not up on the level of either.
