there may be an announcement about miran coming soon...

I can't divulge any details right now but I will say that while I questioned his utility in the past, I cannot ignore the will of the people.

    stay tuned.

Dude what do you mean, that's pretty cool. Other than getting hung up on something every once in a while.

and lint and debris collecting in the velcro...

So, anyone have any experience with Dries footwear? Wondering if I can get away with sizing down a half size.

Also, picked up some Schneider trousers today. Wool/poly/cashmere.

How do they fit? I'm still trying to fill a few wardrobe gaps but I can't decide if Schneider pants are going to be too weird.

snow -Does the velcro fasten anything? Or is it just a patch of fuzzy velcro?

The pants I got are pretty straightforward—just plain trousers in charcoal. But it really depends on the trouser since the cuts/styles vary. Some are cut full, some are slim, some have elastic cuffs... Mine actually border on skinny. They're slim through the thighs and I'm guessing the hem measures like 7.25" or so. But the fit is really nice. I did want to start moving away from everything being so slim, but oh well, they were too good to pass up.

EDIT: for reference, the pair I have reminds me of a slightly more relaxed version of Ervell's formal pants

Dries shoe sizing is pretty messed up, I had a pair of boots a while back that I sold because the fit was weird. I usually wear 9, or sometimes 8.5 if they run large, but I had 7s for the Dries boots and they were still a bit large. The toe was really narrow, though, so it was just awkward all around. Gorgeous boots and really nice leather, though.

My pair in size 44 measures 11.85" long. I usually wear a 43 in CP's, or 10 in US sized shoes.

Don't really know what that means as far as your shoes though.
