If I was into denim I would kop but I rather not put 3-4 years into those only to have them fall apart leaving me from the waist down a shell of the man I once was.

thnaks, I'll look into these. I guess I forgot to mention that I was looking for something tapered.

I'm always miss with levis, tapered stuff is low rise and zip fly. Fuck zip, man.

As you can see, the Shah is back and trying to get to 20,000 posts as quickly as humanly possible....come to think of it, I feel so gauche with only 12 posts!

How was your St. Valentine's Day, Pickpackpockpuck?

I imagine you somewhere on some old-school Brooklyn street...you've taken out the guitar....Mrs Pickpackpockpuck is up on a balcony or sticking her head out of an open window....she's holding the single red rose you gave her, she's half sulking, half pretending to ignore you, half frowning at you raising just the eyes to look at you (you know, the way the Portuguese girls do)....you are serenading her with Chega de Saudade...in a pleading, dulcet, melancholy tone....there are a few passers-by stopping, one is laughing at you, another staring at you, and a couple are taking pics of you on their iphones...and you've been uploaded on a few Facebook walls already...

I hope you shaved your beard for St. Valentine's Day Pickpackpockpuck...I saw your fit pic earlier...you look a lot like someone I know actually.....

For real. Also, did you hear Nigel Cabourn is designing a new e-mail service? It's based on the traditional Hotmail design but with better materials and 5 times the price (meaning i guess it would still be free). Zissou you should look into it :)

Sadly, not very much. My wife and I were looking for a place to sit and eat lunch and he happened to be at a large table with extra space. When we asked if the seats were available, he gave a grumpy response. We sat and had a nice lunch while he read his magazine (Time, I believe :uhoh: )

Thank you, Miran. It was quite nice. There was no serenading, in Portuguese or otherwise. It was not a scene from a fado song, or a samba, depending which country you'd like to go with. We braised a beef shoulder and made some very, very good tacos (tacos being the food of love, of course). I guess I didn't inherit the impassioned luso-melancholia of my forebears. How about yourself?

^ river cafe gives you a nice flower in a clay flower pot if you go for valentine's day. but you should make reservations in advance. the many-course meal is pretty tasty, but the setting is :inlove:

Shah, does this mean you have been on Valentine's? You're a hopeless romantic, aren't you?
