Recently received Mihara Yasuhiro pants don't fit. My legs are too big and pants look too tight. :( :( :( Will put them up in B&S as soon as I get a chance, but if anyone wants some awesome wool cargoes (kinda half-cargoes really) in size 30 keep an eye out. I'll be letting them go cheap.

Also, here's an interesting idea. "Made Fashion Week’s mobile app, which will be available for iPhone, iPad and Android, has been designed to listen for specific sound waves that will be played over the speakers during runway shows throughout the week. These sound waves, inaudible to the human ear, are synched to the shows themselves and tell the app which outfit is on display at any time. The app will then automatically pull up a photograph of the outfit — taken by a photographer on the scene — as well as the designer’s name, biography and contact information. Users can share the photographs through various forms of social media and save looks to their phones. The app also works for people watching Webcasts of the shows."

sucks about the pants, mihara clothes fit really small but shoes really big ...

that app seems like a good idea for marketing purposes, as surely they can track which photos are most shared or best received so preempt any production mishaps when something is made fun of too much or bump price up on things receiving much praise. great work !!!

I remember reading lots of stuff by + about B. smalls on style zeitgeist. I think that he actually posts there once in a while and puts up some of his collections on there.. I love his designs but wished someone would reorganize his website cause it just makes me ughhhfhdjdiecdjd.

Does a J-shaped leg have a discernible effect on the fit of pants? Haven't tried any on myself and I'm just wondering.

mad stacks yo (similar effect with dna along with how seems run down your leg). just think of how an elongated and curved hollow object would look when pressed shorter and forced to be straight. does you knw about 3D geometry and topology ??

An elongated and straight hollow object would also create stacks when pressed shorter. But I presume the stacks on a j-shape sit more toward the bottom while leaving the rest of the leg fairly straight, correct? (Compared to squishing a straight hollow object, which will try to create wrinkles evenly throughout that then need to be fixed.) I know nothing about 3D geometry. If I knew the answers I wouldn't ask!

i don't think actually it makes that much of a difference if it's curved or not :p

summer weight wool in full effect or alternatively linen and cropped

would not go for elongated torso knit nor the front-panel shorts (faux-skirts!!! jurius rip)

well the angle of the stacks may differ but that's not really noticeable, i meant in terms of how high they go ...
there is one difference, and that is, with stiffer garments, j-shaped is, initially, quite a maze to be navigated when putting on.
