does this include raw ingredients and the like ? i mean non-restaurant expenses ? well, if i had access to more places that served better food than what i prepare myself i'd probably dine out more often. for example, l'ecole and spotted pig (tween :plain: )
as it is, i prefer getting finer ingredients and the alchemy in the kitchen

Wow, SVB. Makes me grateful I don't need a car. Also, I still like the Spotted Pig. :nest:

Edit: Oh, and here's my Yelp review of Hung Ry. "Nice location. Food sucks."

It used to more, but I've been a bit too fancy lately with all the eating out at nice restaurants I've been doing.

I like cooking, and I'ld like to do it more

"Less than two years after the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, indulgence is back in style. Bernard Arnault, creator of LVMH Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, is one of the biggest beneficiaries.

"Consumers sipped Dom Pérignon Champagne, donned Hublot watches and sported Louis Vuitton handbags in record numbers last year, especially in Asia, driving sales at LVMH, the world’s largest luxury goods company, to new heights and sharply lifting profitability.

"At a news conference on Friday, Mr. Arnault said sales in 2010 rose 19 percent to 20.3 billion euros ($28 billion). Operating profit jumped 29 percent to 4.32 billion euros ($5.9 billion), while net income surged 73 percent to 3 billion euros ($4.1 billion).
    ...
"As China transforms itself into an economic juggernaut, Chinese shoppers are spending as never before on luxury goods. Sales of expensive trinkets are jumping on the Chinese mainland and in nearby regions like Macao and Taiwan, as well as overseas, where Chinese tourists crowd exclusive boutiques from the Champs-Élysées to Fifth Avenue."

This is a PSA. We now have a Facebook page, after the bastards took down the original one because "Styleforum net is not a real person". Um, corporations are sorta people. So anti-American.

Anyway, we are starting again. If you want to get the DL on events, blog posts, etc... without having to wade through pages and pages of banter, you will be able to find it here:

And here are the reasons you should like us:

Was disappointed in the ridiculous outfits thread... half the people don't understand "legit web shops" and a 1/3 of the posts are MC guys posting SW&D stuff...

Yes, the thread clearly failed to deliver. There's a couple of good ones but most contributions missed the mark
