Cappucino in the mornings for me, and cafe solos or doppios the rest of the day, sugar optional. Americanos throughout the day.

as it turns out, i'm not quite satisfied with the Panasonic LX-5. The portly fellow who suggested the XZ-1 was onto something, what with the faster lens and all. But I've taken it a step further, perhaps a step too far. I didn't want to commit to the expenses of a full-fledged DSLR system, not quite yet, but I was wondering -- is there a way to maintain portability and modularity without making too many sacrifices, is there a way to revive the glass I had shunned for so many months, could I return to the Soviet era while still being in the 21st century ?

The answer, my dear comrades, is a resounding YES.

I have embarked on a journey to enjoin two epochs, one of brutal bland olive monotony and forced equality along with a post-modern remote controlled drone future that is now before us bombarding our every senses.

The Panasonic G3, built on the success of the previous G series, with the improved touch interface of the GF3, the sensors and performance of the elder brother GH1 with a new revised Live-MOS 16MP powerhouse, the essential built-in electronic viewfinder, and the modular support I've been after

So my marching orders have been given, the troops are assembled ! And a little peak of what once was that will once again be -:- as soon as the adapters arrive

As you can see, it is truly the real deal. Unfortunately you can't, however advanced your monitors may be, detect the cabbage scent of glorious Ukranian beasts.

Sadly, this one is no longer fit for service, the lens being attached permanently and all ( :( )

edit: rft , kewl(er?) pics of fahsiony stuff forthcoming but i prolly won't have many more fits to post

that 21eme whatever guy fucking sucks. his blog is so pretentious and annoying, and he's just kind of a shitty dude. i was once interested in buying something from him and he was so fucking pushy (emailing me over and over and over) that i just got turned off. then he kept emailing me asking to add him on blogger and vote for his blog in some contest or some shit. really tacky.
