The Jaws of Death Action that cries for sound – a vibrating roar from the big cat mingled with the bellowing groans of the terror-stricken Dromadary. The one-ball flintstock, lying with ramrod twisted and useless across the slain lioness, has done its work. One thin blade remains to stand off the finality of the charge – a charge with the swiftness of death in it.

Maybe because they realize spending thousands on multiple leathers isn't filling the void? I always thought a leather jacket was something you bought one of and wore the shit out of it so your kid can inherit it and look great in his/her 20s.

I'm always blown away by people spending several hundred on pieces they aren't sure about. If I buy something questionable for $50 I can't stop thinking about it until I've made up my mind.

PS momofuku Ko did not live up to expectations, or the price tag. Go to Brushstroke instead.

I just paid DHL $106 in customs on a package valued at $299.

    Beyond the fucking pale.
