is that because my waywt pics are garbage ? well, i used to shoot them with my 35mm rangefinder but i found the self-timer wasn't really accurate any more, and like hendrix, I was poasting spring fits in the middle of winter -- and i didn't even have his excuse of living in the savage hemisphere. just time to take it develop it scan it all lead into next season ...

this is why i say all-black outfits look kewl in context, in photos with appropriately dark settings (like a train station at night, or destroyed city background that's just an abandoned construction project, etc) but when going about daily errands it just looks awkward and like a renaissance festival x phantom of the opera costume set. ok shopping at atelier is still a semi-in-context errand but still...I need color of any sort !

+1, I don't understand people who are okay wearing all black. It's not even about context for me, I just think there are too many nice colors to not wear any.

More posters should wear all white infront of dilapidated buildings. Channeling the Holy Ghost.

It's for if you live in a city, and you spend all your money on $$$ clothes but have actually accounted for the fact that you can't afford the cleaning bills.

This way no one is the wiser :)

Honestly aside from the occasional TB on sale I have no desire for a white shirt that costs more than $30 here

It's just a preference. I don't feel like wearing anything other than black or grey lately. I can appreciate colors in things not on my body.

I wish I could wear more black. The ubiquitous nature of my dog's hair makes wearing any soft fabric in black an exercise in barely-contained madness.

    dunno
I dunno, it just clicks with some and obviously with most here it doesn't. I have been mixing color here and there once in a while, but usually the most you can get out of me is some blue gray or red.

I cant get out of monochrome comfort zone, I feel so weird if im wearing color, lol. As I said earlier, even with a pair of black jeans, the blue that shows up in certain lighting is causing me to want to get rid of them, in fact I dont wear em lol

I like wearing white and a shade of a gray/brown from a tank top or undershirt with heavy layers of black though, it balances out all the darkness imo.

otherwise I just wear combinations of textures. So for example,. suede blazer I wear with ribbed cashmere shirts, cotton waxed jeans, and reverse calf boots. I think that is enough to make it interesting, at least to my eyes....lol
