No dice. :( Also whoever designed Comey's website needs to be shot.

I think they may have been exclusive to OC, because I can't find any other reference to them (they're the Corleys).

I have the xz-1 and I love it. Never tried the lx-5 though. I researched them for months and the lens of the xz-1 won me over

Oh ? How come ? I figure the 24mm on the lx5 is rather nice compared to just 28mm on xz-1

    hmm,

    lx5 vs xz-1

3x vs 4x optical zoom is not bad but not much

23 vs 11 focal points is woah

    460k vs 614k screen

    f2-3.3 vs f1.8-2.5 <--- that's prolly what convinced you?

1/4000 vs 1/2000 max speed

    +/- 3 EV vs +/- 2EV

    AVCHD lite vs MotionJPEG eww

but who needs 1.8 when fastest you get is 1/2000

It has a neutral density filter that lets you shoot f1.8 in broad daylight, so you don't need 1/4000, which may not even be enough on its own. Yeah, the wide aperture, the sharpness of the lens at all apertures, olympus colors in jpeg, and the functionality were the big selling points. The difference in the screens may be significant depending on how you use the camera. I find myself showing a lot of pics to my friends from the screen, so it's significant. If you're posting them online, its moot.

    -----------------------------------

is there a way to trigger automatic addition to ignore list ?

there are many criteria for making it, but in particular more than one use of the word grail -> please enter my as of now empty ignore list

    there was only ever one
