Yeah, I see a lot of expectant fans standing around an uncomfortable Mr. Ervell, who grimaces regretfully at his Doc Martens.

don't discard the old pair, though! you could turn it into a scab project...or patch it with red polka dot for that quirky flair. ya know.

Wish these fit me well. Need black jeans so bad, preferably without breaking the bank.

try H&M? I have two pairs of jeans from them that are competing for my favorites. such good cuts, and pretty robust construction. that is if you don't care about selvedge 24/7

also try on some levis? 511 or 510 cut. you can always rip the arcuates out.

Out of those, which are the tightest up top (i.e. most like new cures)?
I usually run into problems with baggy thighs/crotches/seats/waist

you should give the levi's a test run then; I think the 510s are slightly less slim than the 511. I found that my TTS in the 510 was actually pretty tight in the waist, I ended up sizing up. So you can try on TTS or one size down to see if that suits you. Be aware, though, that they use various fabrics and some have more stretch than others.

a lot less slim, though i guess it depends on what apc's you're used to.
don't know why they don't make raw 000's

It is the slimmest, but they have a slim straight in stead of skinny that could work too. and a regular straight

T-000 are the slim one (I think), I bought a pair and they're quite nice but I am quite slim so they don't hug my legs akwardly.
