Kinda want to buy this shawl for my wife (bit expensive at $1k, but it's the thought that counts, right?). It's made from recycled cashmere. "A new brand to Aloha Rag, Dosa’s cashmere shawl is created by reworking the cashmere yarn in between the selvedges when two to four shawls are woven on one loom. The cashmere yarns are unraveled, the fiber is respun and then rewoven by hand in a randomly striped pattern of muted colors. Each shawl is unique, a mélange of colors from previously woven shawls. Includes a special tag indicating it is a recycled product." from Aloha Rag

Having one cat is for single women blithely oblivious to the fact that their supposed beloved companion is experiencing the equivalent of indefinite solitary confinement. If you don't work part-time or from home, Pussums deserves a proper companion.

Can someone explain the etymological origin of the term "copping"? It just hit me that it's very close to the Swedish word for buying, "köp". [IMG]

Derived from the greek word kópros which means excrement. Used first to describe the purchases made from the Mr. Porter sale, since they so closely resemble shit. Has now been widely accepted for all purchases made for more than a 70% discount.
