does anyone else notice how it's odd when users with a older join date but very low post count all of a sudden start frequently posting, such as in WAYWT...

Saw the Jun Hashimoto and AR lines at Pitti Uomo. There is a heavy wool shirt jacket from AR that is terrific, and the entire Jun Hashimoto lineup is mindblowing. The story is "more red, less green", apparently, but we had translation issues. The leathers and outerwear pieces are tremendous. A lot of calf. The sizes go up to 5, which is the equivalent of a US40, and I'm between a 4 and a 5, as is Jun himself (not a small guy.) We talked about Carpe Diem, wjk, JUn Hashimoto, retail (not cheap) and more.

Incidentally, Jun is looking for US retailers, if you have any suggestions. I'm reaching out to a few people I know.

Anyway, you'll see more about this on the blog ( blog.styleforum.net ) within the next few days or weeks, depending on how we release things.

Desi, did you see what TheCorner is doing? You can reserve the pieces you want from the runway show. http://www.thecorner.com/us/fashion...tm_medium=email&utm_source=20120112-valentino

@swerdle It's time for Co-Ed Naked T-shirts to come back. Maybe a lim. edition line, in collab w pegleg @openingceremony or something? #imserious

    :rotflmao:

They could be like me. I joined SF way back in the latter stages of my college career, when I was just getting into fashion. Then the crushing reality of life after college came (lot more bills to pay, relatively low-paying entry level job) and I lowered my interests in fashion to a very casual level because it would be too depressing to maintain a deep interest in clothes that I couldn't afford to buy. (Seriously, I doubt I spent more than $300/year on clothes from 2008 through 2010.) 2011 was a really good year for me as far as sorting out my finances and finally getting up to a decent salary, so I've dived back into fashion pretty strongly.

It's definitely not always about how good you are or what you know. Case in point:

Yeah for the first 6 months of my account or whatever I was only on B&S a very small handful of times. I only registered because I wanted to buy this pair of WWM shorts
