Dudes at the Red Wing store had never even heard of GTs or the postman oxford. Then, eying me from the back of the store as they consulted various manuals, it slowly dawned on them. OOOOOOoooooooh, they said. You're one of those guys. That's from the heritage line. You might try Nooord-stroms, snicker, snicker.

Workwear is for lame-os, but frilly workwear is apparently much worse.

    Reedo EDIT:

Random from my shelf (pretty entertaining)

This is good, too, and also pretty crime-y.

Also the new Almodovar is out or online or something. Working with Banderas again. Pretty stoked.

not sure of exactly which one he is with, I'll ask my stepdad when he comes home. I know my stepdad had to get a job for a friend's relative with the union that was apparently really difficult to get in (the guy who got the job worked with NBC or something). I also had to set up his limo when he was here once since a friend's family owns a limo service.

I'm guessing teamsters though, because my stepdad was with the teamsters for years. he also knows a lot of big wigs with the teamsters and the other names don't sound too familiar to me.

Nueva reinas is a great movie. It stars Ricardo Darín, who is probably the best actor in the country. He also starred in "El secreto de sus ojos", which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 2010. They did a remake of this in the US, called "Criminals" IIRC, with Diego Luna and John C. Reilly. Not nearly as good for what I saw.
