I don't have a definite style really. If I wear suits I go to Brooks Brothers or Ralph Lauren. Shoes I like traditional italian or english. I have some other stuff from big name French/Italian designers. But all my choices are a lit of conservative side/

it depends on my mood, environment and the occasion... I'd swear that from one day to the next you wouldn't recognize me as a strictly SW&D or MC guy... some days just require something new and different!

Just because we like beer doesn't mean we can't sip on some champagne once in awhile...

SW+D denim stuff is 'age-appropriate' for anybody who fits in it, really... there are swaggy 80 year old guys who could probably pull off some APCs and a BoO oxford shirt, some SW+D'ish sneakers... I mentioned earlier how the SA at Corso Como here is in his mid-60's, (mainly all CDG) wears head to toe Junya, same pieces as Scott M has - swag to death, he is killing it. He wears the anoraks and sagged jeans, boots, it's a 90's Ura-hara look, but all new pieces, looks totally normal on him too. Obviously not normal clothes, they have a ton of flair and so his style is shaped, but it's amazing.

The young guys (and I mean about <30 or so) in MC - they are mostly lost, I feel.

Just watched True Grit again tonight, it was much more hilarious then I remembered but DAMN does it make me want to dress like the old west. Costume design was great in that film.

And young and old doesn't matter as long as you don't dwell on it and just have fun

I'm 37, which means that it's clearly the best age. Stay tuned. 38 is the next best age. But not yet.

I think the tail on that Plokhov coat is TOO extreme. It does look really cool from the back though...
But it doesn't fit with Toasty's wardrobe, or at least the imaginary version of Toasty's wardrobe that exists in my mind.
