I'm telling you, rent Deadfall. There is nothing like it. (Or at least watch the highlights on YouTube).

Plus, how has no one mentioned Peggy Sue Got Married? Classic performance right there.

Guys, I'm watching Season of the Witch. This is even better than The Seventh Seal.

Face-Off was good but Con Air is my favorite, plus it had Dave Chapelle before the Chapelle Show

"The last Mohican is burning, man!" I always found that funny for some reason

Nic Cage Fun Fact: His son, Weston Cage, is in a metal band and posts ridiculous shit on facebook about being a viking warrior. Dude won't accept my friend request though. :(

I blame Franklin Cosgrove on sufu, he got me into the Cage a few years back.

^Grew up watching what are now guilty pleasures ....Armageddon, Con Air, Air Force One, Independence Day, Leon, Rumble in the Bronx, etc. Have a soft spot for those movies. In fact just the other day I watched Rumble in the Bronx and though it was a fucking comedy, first movie I had ever seen Jackie actually KISS a woman

You can't help but love the man. Oh, man. I so wished they'd gone through with the whole Superman thing. That would have been the most dog faced Superman eva!

The set up to the "You're him." "Huh?" "The Rocket Man" bit is priceless.

I've seen MofM tees on-sale at both these stores nearly every season. But usually the window of opportunity is small, so you need to check often....

I think I agree on all counts although I'm ambivalent toward Drive, then again I like Mann and kinda enjoy his "hollowing out" operation, I find Miami Vice almost abstract.

Can't wait to see Take Shelter, and yeah Shotgun Stories was pretty good.

Kinda related but I just found out that David Gordon Green directed The Sitter

What about Moon re: sci-fi ?

Ha, I was about to post the exact same thing, I'm pretty sure my fondness for Nic Cage mainly stems from The Rock and maybe a couple of other films I saw as a kid like Face Off, Con Air etc. The Rock is sacred though.

Anyone saw the original Wicker Man ? It's supposedly pretty good, I bought it a while ago but can't find the dvd anymore.

that shit is creepy. it has that 70s movie pacing which isn't for everyone but it has some odd and disturbing moments which are unsettling even now what 40 yrs later.
