    The added height of the laceups makes them a definite winner, those velcro ones are pretty nondescript.

    Btw tween, I forgot to tell you, the boots arrived and they fit fucking perfect ! yet another whim kop success. Took them for a walk today, had forgotten about the metal taps... I felt like a preppy Darth Vader in the subway, people turning their heads and diligently moving out of my way as I was slicing through the crowd, I just need a cape now (*not really preppy though)

    I was getting kind of nervous that they didn't make it with the holiday rush so thanks for confirming that too.

    The taps do give you a certain presence though, don't they?

    They do indeed. I'm tempted to keep the taps as is but it goes against my ninjaesque inclinations, I shall devise a removable topy contraption for those times where stealthiness is in order.

    Same here. I generally only wear a collared shirt when giving a presentation to some big company. Otherwise I hate the things. They're uncomfortable and don't mesh well with most of my outerwear.

    American Apparel is a pain in my ass.

    (1) I returned a hoodie and learned they don't offer refunds period, so they gave me a gift card.
    (2) Just tried to use the gift card to buy underwear and t's and learned they don't allow use of a gift card for merchandise purchased online.
    (3) They don't sell the three-pack boxer briefs in store (at 3 for $33), so I'd need to buy them individually at $14 a pop and thus pay ~33% more.

    How does American Apparel stay in business selling shit clothing (beside basics) and making up rules like this? For fuck's sake.

    converse all star x northface, the are for the slopes but you don't need a board or anything, you just glide down.
