What's the deal with the extra stringy things on Silent scarves?

Also, here's a quick and easy recipe for brownies from the Moosewood cookbook, brought to you by the chefs at the Moosewood restaurant in Ithaca, NY:

    - 1 stick butter
    - 3 oz unsweetened chocolate
    - 1 c brown sugar
    - 1/2 tsp vanilla
    - 2 eggs
    - 1 c flour
    - pinch of salt (adjust to taste depending on salted v. unsalted butter)

Melt the chocolate and butter together over low heat, taking care not to let anything burn. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, vanilla, and salt (optional). Beat eggs and stir them in once everything's cooled down enough that the eggs won't cook on contact. Fold in flour along with any desired add-ins (chocolate chips, walnuts, &c.)

    Pour into a buttered 8" x 8" dish and bake at 350 F for 20 - 25 minutes.

The whole thing uses one saucepan, one bowl (for beating the eggs), one measuring cup, and one measuring spoon. I'd say it takes 45 minutes tops, including baking time.

No, I went through the same thing this year (having a lot of similar clothes and simultaneously getting sick of all of them).

MOK has creep stuff. ive no experience with it. the designer (toronto-based) was featured in a magazine last month, was wearing the pull on redwings which looked really great imo.

Tell me Lane, what is it that you have learned about leather jackets, by buying up all the old SZ leftovers and sloppy thirds this year, that I don't know? Entertain me. Also, tell me how it feels like to spend thousands of dollars on clothes that were past their expiration date years before you bought them... late pass gothninja, tell me. I am truly interested.
