Oh I totally agree, I just hope a Givenchy etc hype isn't upon us for those exact reasons.

Btw, didn't Balenciaga put out a dog sweater too ?

But I thought you loved all that YSL? If you are looking for more casual stuff, have you been to Bastille? It's about as good as we have in SLC, in my opinion.

I was ordering something from LN-CC and didn't see VAT deducted at checkout. Do they normally have to be emailed to do it?

if you haven't ordered from them before, your account won't have been switched over to the -VAT group - or if they switched it to a sale group. just email them and they will refund you and switch you over for future purchases
    no -vat on sale items

    That's ridiculous.

VAT is a tax. If you're not legally obligated to pay it, you shouldn't be paying it.

Thanks, Briza. I think I remember someone saying it's a bug in their system? It can't do sale and -VAT at the same time, but the will refund afterwards?

i don't think so, no.... they had a presale a month ago or so which is better than current sale where mostbrands were 30% off + -20% vat, but in this case i don't think vat will getdeducted further. yea it's silly bu 70% off seems kind of silly as well... i don't think any euro store i've bought a sale item off of has further deducted VAT

    REDACTED

doesn't hurt to check with them, though...

if vat were deducted i would so cop that unused leather DR i've been wanting since it dropped on their site

son of a... That doesn't make any sense. Their T&C states that all advertised prices are inclusive of VAT.

yes, you have to email them to refund the vat for all sale items. i dont know why there system doesnt do it but they will either give you store credit or refund the vat amount. hope this helps.

for non-sale items the vat should be removed at checkout. if you have never ordered from ln-cc they are fast. if i order on monday it will show up in slc on wed/thursday. it might take an extra day to go up north but they are great. one of my favorite stores.

i could throw a rock at Bastille from where i live! very good store. not like ln-cc but for this shit hole its very good. :)
