I did see SW and ra13, but yeah, not much else outside of Japan. I will now read the thread. Thanks!
Will I get mediocre looking fades if I wear the APCs when I'm lounging around/being lazy versus out & about? As of right now I spend a lot of time sitting down and in front of the comp...
Well, I'd be perfectly content wearing only CDGH+ F/w 2010 for the forseeable future

You are asking too much
Yes, as was the same with GATs a year or so prior. That's why I made the analogy. Both are items that many buy as if they were some kind of universal goodness that meshes with any style. But because the purchase was motivated largely by the influence of this diverse forum (as opposed to their own judgement), many are buying things that only marginally match their existing style.
Pair your GATs with Julius trousers, DRKSHDW jeans, shorts, or raw workwear demin.
Pair your fair isle sweater with biz cas, or your double rider leather jacket.
Pair your new TOJ leather with a tee, biz cas, or even formal wear.
It's all good.
Since the SW&D section on this forum represents a wide range of styles, we end up seeing everyone from goth ninja to preppy guys attempting to incorporate the exact same over hyped item into their existing style. Herein lies the problem.
I take full responsibility of creating stark hype machine. Please keep in mind it is my lowest denominator of knits.
Maybe try Epaulet. They have trousers with a 8"+ opening, depending on your size. For me, 8" is perfect in a straight legged trouser - wide enough to fall over a pair of shoes without catching on the heel or the tongue, or fit over a pair of boots, but narrow enough to look good with just a small break.
And honestly, you might try more traditional men's brands as well, especially the traditional American brands. Polo, Hickey Freeman, or Paul Stuart would probably have what you need.
Next you should totally show us how long you can hold your breath.
