I wonder if these houses can even think outside of the typical celebrity designers.

Who would you rather they pick?

Big, familiar names equal safety and favorable coverage, although a no-name might spur excitement as well

Nice! This is the version I've read and can recommend: http://www.amazon.com/Epitaph-Small...=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1323790344&sr=1-1. There's another version called The Posthumous Memoirs of Bras Cubas. It's the same book, but Posthumous Memoirs is the accurate translation of the real title. I don't know where they came up with Epitaph of a Small Winner, but the text itself is well-written. If you pick it up, let me know what you think (feel free to PM).

Shah, I feel for you with Tree of Life. I say this as someone who loves Terrence Malick. Whatever you do, don't ever watch Inland Empire. I also love David Lynch, but that movie is nonsense.

Here's a random fashion thought: the only brand I've found whose button-downs fit me as I like is Paul Smith. The few Geller shirts I've tried on have been a good fit too.

Edit: Oh, and yes to The Mirror. Anything Tarkovksy really. But my favorite movie ever: The Passion of Joan of Arc by Dreyer.

Does this also mean that those who do not already own painted GATs should acquire them? :eh:

I'm not sure. I think a special edition lamp. I guess I'll find out! They just sent me an email asking for my address to send my prize to.

Maybe it will be a vagina lamp, inspired by vagina gats, that will illuminate your apartment with the warm glow of electric sex, a la A Christmas Story leg lamp.

I would probably kill myself if the word blogger ever followed my name in anything released. I would take forumite over blogger.

Raf to Dior would be terrible, I'd rather have him go to YSL

Question for everyone: if it were up to you to pick for Dior, who would you pick?
