My brother is coming home next week with a trove of Uniqlo socks and underwear for me. These are much needed and thus, I am much grateful.

am i turning into kvc ???

the damir sneakers are creating some sort of cognitive dissonance here
they look amazing, but i've convinced myself now they are slightly too small and i am preparing them to be incinerated

that is, unless someone takes them from me for a nice offer within the next hour or two

Wait, what's this? Aren't they on basically the same sole as MMM?
Soooo are you suggesting after all that you need a size up on that sole from your CP size????

the soles are actually made by BW-SPort, makers of the original gats and not the same as the mmm ones -- at least there is no such BW-Sport stamp on my gats

also, gats upper is completely different while these narrow down a bit in the toe box, making them far more tts. in fact i'll try on my gats right now -- yes , much more room in the toe box of mine

i simply cannot wear these and take myself seriously. they are too much, nowhere near the same understated elegance of, say, gats perverted with paint, or sleek designs of cp. they are an alien infestation of the feet. and i've convinced myself of the discomfort the create when worn.

maybe i just want to suffer the same as you, serpent, only to better understand you, how you came to be, where you've gone, and how you bartered a deal for a talking dog :embar:

focus and fully realize that alien form, and venture once more into the quiet woodlands. contemplate these surroundings with your new-found alien eyes, and tacitly and tactile-y appreciate the terra firma beneath your lowest of appendages. is it cold like the vast vacuum you traversed? Is it soft like the matter buzzing inside you? do you even have any need for such... base... descriptors?

nay, only one adjective is appropriate for this post-terrestrial, post-metamorphic life: baller.

i refuse to be labeled as such, i am a poor pauper and will always remain one regardless of what i wear. no sneaker is worth over 250 to me let alone the absurd price on these. i will live my lowly life existing solely in the damir horse boots and alden color #8 pending the arrival, fully grounded in this planet i love, never again lifting off -- one really doesn't understand the greatness of the big blue earth, that is until one has journeyed away from its charms. that journey was equivalent to Aeglus' night club, but imagine the Koreans as being green and scaly. I dreamt this all, and felt it all, ____

the no-more-sneakers rule is in effect, as of now (again)

After such a celestial journey one can understand an exclusive desire for the anchors of the feet you have described, young Icarus.
