I don't wear cologne but I have a bottle of cdg kyoto I really like. Everything from that incense line is really nice, but works better if you aren't midwest white I guess. I think I will order some samples too...I want to see what wonderwood is like

    Examples from my wardrobe:

    1) Number (n)ine belt. I was like "that's cool. Fuck it. Going for it now."
    2) Lanvin military cap - not normally a huge fan of the brand, but man, they do their colors (in this case, wine/port), right.

agreed. sounds like many people are letting how much they paid for an item of clothing in the past influence how much they enjoy it now. Maybe natural but hardly rational, sunken costs and all.

That's not what anyone's saying at all. You're reading too much into it. It's simply, "Damn, could've saved some real money. Sucks. Oh well."

Untitled is ok. It's more fruity and light so more suitable for spring. I feel that it doesn't last very long though.

well, cuz you feel like kind of a sap as people are taking advantage of sales and you bought the only two pieces in a collection that sparked interest, and you still coulda kopped for way less. In my case 50% off, and you know rick son, that shit hurts.

I still love the item, but fuck I coulda used the money for other "investments" too, no? :nodding:

the feeling would have been much sweeter...waiting and getting it eventually. Problem is weighing the possibility that it will sell out before sales, which is a hard judgment to make. No matter what I like, my main goal is to maximize benefits over cost.

Well I was simply going by jet's interpretation of the earlier posts, which does sound like a kind of common fallacy a lot of people fall prey to ("This is my grail and I can afford it now but l'll wait for sales because I'll get more enjoyment out of it if I get it on sales") whether or not it also applies to the earlier posters.

Forgot to post that I ran into an SF poster in the +J section of Herald Square Uniqlo yesterday. I think he said his username was WhoKnewI, so if you see this come here and post what's up! I think he's the uniqlo proxy guy too so that would make sense.
