FUCKING FUCK I just got my Black Fleece suit back from the tailors and he cut the pants waaaaaaay slimmer than I had asked. And shit, I like it slim (some would say too slim) but this is ridic. They're also too short.

Hem is 6 fucking inches, calves are seven... and they hover about an inch above the top of my shoe! They look like jeggings. I have a formal dinner to attend tomorrow, I'm fucked.

+1. I'm not a fan of 2 personally. CdG scents all have a very artificial quality about them; it's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just their signature. If you haven't tried CdG before, you better get samples.

I prefer their series stuff like Sequoia but they tend to be harder to find than Wonderwood (which is good), Guerilla, etc. I got a bottle of the recent Chalayan collab but like a lot of CdG it's better as a "once in a while" than a day-to-day.

I have found the hard way that when a tailor pins something, expect it to be even slimmer once the job is done. That sounds crazy, though.

very helpful, probably Rei's musk from rare mountain antelopes hunted by bow and arrow, extracted for Jet and two others world wide.

Weird thing was that he didn't bother pinning the pants. I just told him I'd like a 7" hem and a slim, tapered leg...Guess he eyeballed it and cut it mad slim. Since it's off from what I asked, how do I make sure he doesn't charge me for a recut? Especially if I need it same day

Reedo, did you use a Brooks Brothers house tailor? I would just use those guys since they at least will be more familiar with the catalog.

Nah I didn't, a local guy who is supposed to be the best. I think the BB tailor's eyes would pop out if I said 7" hem
