I think what appeals to me about tech ninja is its cleanness. The lines are simple and strong, the colors basic. Features are usually well thought out and contribute meaningfully. I also really like its lack of ubiquity, I feel like 50% of SF forum members have either embraced or are attempting to embrace the goth ninja aesthetic, and its one I've never really jived with form the start (although I've developed more of an appreciation of it as of late).

It's funny, because outside of these forums, in depth discussions like this lose all meaning. It's splitting hairs for 99.999% of the population

It's splitting hairs in here anyway.

I figure if you just wear what you like you don't have to worry about an aesthetic - within reason.

throwing together a bunch of what one likes with little other consideration does not ever end well.

"...garments are like a perfected representation of a generally far more blurry individuality. Not weak : just blurry, in the sense it is not constantly the exact same, hour after hour."

i think one should keep this in mind when taking inspiration from stills,

and speaking of stills, this is quite nice

I need some Balmain in my life, now. Sucks that there´s nothing really affordable [IMG]

On the ninja tech or ninja goth or anything ninja wise topic, I´d try that look in a heartbeat.
Reedobandito, I don´t think you have the look to pull it off. Lane could wear the hell outta that, but considering the overall aesthetics you´ve shown here, I don´t know man, it would be a huge-ass transition.

    I think that I'm having a style mid-life crisis. I find myself increasingly (re)drawn to street/designer brands like Undercover(ism), Neigbourhood, and L.G.B.

yeah, in a fit, you should obviously look in the mirror and make sure it all works together.

But you shouldn't think "i want to look tech-ninja today" and make that all together.

Remember "tech-ninja" is an arbritrary definition describing groupings of items that give off a certain vibe on spectrum. Feasibly you can position yourself anywhere you want on that spectrum, and use a whole bunch of different individual items to get there. Moreover i don't like the idea of wanting to look like anything other than yourself - again don't extend the meaning of this.
