Don't lie Ivirii....You know, for the record, that Ola is a Nigerian name, but it can be both a male and female name. Ola is short for Olawale or something or a man...

I had a Nigerian housemate once...and he had lots of Nigerian visitors over often...including Ola Jiwa (older sister) and Suleiman Jiwa (younger brother).

Also Ivrii...you are being ridiculous. You know about the sheer volume of Nigerian scam e-mails out there...there is nothing "novel", or "fictional" or "larger than life persona" about it (all of those in inverted commas)....heck, there was a Nigerian offering to sell me a Kiton overcoat in an e-mail...who knows where he got my e-mail from....
And no, I am not prejudiced against Nigerians or Africans and I know you know that too...

Will do. I got a WAYWT up somewhere with 'em.
Haha, yeah, the front part of the sole. Wouldn't want any more height on the heel.

I'll try to take a WAYWT with the Margielas in the next couple of days. They fit me perfectly, so I assume I'd just look like I was going to the ranch.
    :embar:

Still gotta get a touch more room at the instep before I'm 100% sure I can rock the Julius boots, though.

Ha, when I was looking for a dog and my parents for a horse we were both contacted by priests on sabbatical in Nigeria stating that if I sent them the cash I would get a pristine dog delivered to my door!

These were found on craigs list.

No, you can't. Not because it's a used TOJ, but because it's you.

So what, in your opinion, makes someone's voice or opinions legitimate? Is a blogger categorically different from some academic prick? Besides, I don't think blogs like this are any more intellectually dishonest than wearing a Supreme hat because you want to feel street, and it conforms to some vague and confused notion of what you think that means.

IMO the things people do without much thought or consideration are a lot more interesting than deliberate acts. Not saying that we don't put a lot of thought into clothes, we just don't put much thought into being honest about or contextualizing our habits. You can't participate in SF to any reasonable extent without having a lot of preexisting privilege, and maybe you think that's beside the point, but I think it's something worth talking about.

Depends on the angle from which you see them, IMO. The toebox looks kinda bulbous in some photos.
