Cloth in N Ireland usually has a nice selection of Oliver Spencer, and their sales are usually good. I've bought a few Universal Works items from them in the past. Customer service is great, but their site (which seems to be down at the moment) won't deduct VAT. But, they are quick to refund it if you send them an email. You'd have to be patient to receive your goods, as shipping can take upwards of a couple weeks to the US.

I've ordered bits from them in the past and they've been very quick and as you say their sale prices are good. Their web site is horrendous though - incredibly slow to load (when it's up).

Dunhill is still good, even post-Kim Jones, IMO. I had a Dunhill cardigan for a little bit that had super nice fabric; I kinda regret getting rid of it.

Cesar's Shoe Repair in NYC does good work. They're also an authorized Vibram dealer. Don't know if that matters, but there you have it. http://www.cesarsshoerepair.com/

Re: Oliver Spencer—the Peregrine showroom sale is going on in NYC right now. They'll have OS stuff. http://www.peregrineshowroom.com/

Look at the brands that Peregrine shows. HY ain't really my steeze (nor GA for that matter), but the other brands are actually really well-made and well-sourced. I'd have to go back to my photos to check but I think it was UW and maybe 8:15 that were sourcing fabrics directly from their UK manufacturers, some pretty well-known and typically $$$ names. And they were reasonably priced, too, even for being made in Canada or England.

Like you said, quality mid-tier labels that for some reason or another don't get talked about at all.
