Regarding some of the earlier conversations on here, if I don't wear something I try to get rid of it. I feel lighter or something that way. I also only shop opportunistically, meaning I buy what I happen to find at a price I can afford. I don't really find pieces I like and then save for them and seek them out. The only exception is boots, because I keep them for years and wear them all the time (the boots I'm wearing now I've worn at least three times a week for the past four years). It definitely helps that I live in New York and have tons of sample sales and overstock sales where I can find cool stuff at a discount.

I still hold on to a Gucci Blazer because it is so fab. Who cares if it is a size too big? Not I.

probably should ask in another thread but since bows mentioned paul harnden- i am a fairly muscular/broad shouldered 38 or small 40. would a size M short blazer fit me?

I don't think so. Not from the past few seasons. The fit is now Japanese as suits his primary consumer. I'm generally a true/large 40 and based on the measurements of some of the XLs I've received some of them may not even fit me (Sub 20" p2p) which is shocking since the cuts are supposed to be on the boxy side...

thanks...yeah was from last season. personally i prefer the more fitted cuts he does now but agree its not very in keeping with his peasant/workwear aesthetic.

If I were doing more clothing spending, I think a fair portion of my wardrobe would be ex-Snow clothes and ex-Synth footwear
