RO gets beaten on around here hard but I like the leathers a great deal.
I would guess he is making a statement against thinking too much about your clothing choices. Constantly refining your look and soliciting feedback by posting fit pics can quickly become an exercise of dressing up in order to gain approval from an audience. In this sense it is a style forum "costume". Although I would argue that most biz casual ensembles are costumes too (as is any outfit purposefully designed to fit in or win approval in any situation).
I could not follow either so I ignored it.
Don't be so fucking lazy. I did a quick search and this came up right at the top of the results....
I looked literally right after I wrote that, chill brutha man.
Curious that she'd wear a $1,500 leather to a soup kitchen...
She has also worn Lanvin sneakers to the soup kitchen. She seems to have many different pairs of them.
Although I think her style sucks overall. She frequently forces different pieces together in a way that clashes or is just plain inappropriate for the occasion. If you look at how she dressed just a few years earlier, it is obvious that she only recently became interested in trying to dress better. So her inconsistent style should not be surprising.
You have to appreciate her effort though. The list of world leaders that even know more obscure (relatively speaking) designer labels is probably very small, and the list of those that actually wear them, maybe a handful.
I was seriously impressed when I tried this on (at Nordstrom ). Wasn't a fan of it on the shelf (boring wool, sheetmetal leather) but was glad the SA got me to throw it on because I definitely overlooked it. Don't think I'd ever buy into RO though (except the gradient leather), they look good but I'm disappointed in the hand
If she has to deal with the plebes, she will make damn sure that on sight they know she's ballin way out of their league
...don't really have standing to make fun of these guys...
...for being contrived or ridiculous. There's nothing unstudied about either group.
Sidenote--we gotta do something about the image auto resize system on the forum. Sucks.
kit i bought some shirts and knits. very simple stuff. i fit in both med and small but med is a nicer fit.
Do you know what stores will be stocking S2AxCudi?
OK, but I still don't see your point?
His point was don't front, basically. You are a nerd who likes to wear a costume and making fun of other nerds in costumes is like going to Comic-Con dressed as Robin and calling the Anime Cosplayers weirdos.
Spoiler: Warning: Spoiler!
which is something i've done and now feel bad about,

its funny reading your guys experiences with RO. If you go to a boutique of his you'll quickly notice the clothes aren't as extravagant as the runway makes it out to be. You can definitely incorporate a lot into your wardrobes. Shouldn't be much of a fuss over this. DRKSHDW line especially is easy to delve into, hoodies, shirts, and jeans with interesting washes. Some of the outerwear is bizarre, but I don't see how a t shirt or leather of his is out there.
lol, and michelle obama bought that ugly insect colored leather eww
ugh not this shit again -_- really?
