I've had them for like two months now, really good boots. They run big, I went down a size and they fit pretty snug. The leather is both soft and thick, and doesn't show dirt or wear easily due to the distressing. My only complaint is that the bit of leather my heel sits on top of is starting to come unglued, but that can be fixed easily. Otherwise it's a great boot, they profile is slim, but not obnoxiously so, and the heel height is nice. When ordering I thought the heel and sides of the sole were black, but they're actually very dark brown. Hard to tell unless you take a close look, though. The shaft is also pretty slim, which is good for me.

zara has some gray suede side-zips right now that I might buy if they did have a cheap gold colored zip.

Can I get a nice casual blazer for less than $300, or should I just get a regular jacket?

    Looking to replace this look:

Is that you? If it isn't you, you don't want to look like that because the jacket is bad. Yes you can get a nice casual blazer for probably around $150. A/X has good blazers for this purpose (0). The fit is good and none of them will be mistaken for something formal : http://www.armaniexchange.com/category/mens/blazers.do

It's me. I pretty much like that look except for the blazer, which is why I want to get a different one.

He said replace that look, not replicate it.

He knows the orphaned jacket looks bad and wants a casual blazer. That said I really don't know what to suggest because I don't know the rest of his closet.

Are you set on having something in grey?

I was just going to gorilla glue it, I'm sure a cobbler could do it but why bother?

Thank you very much AFL. I will likely order them soon. If you could post wearing/detail pics I would be really happy.

Nope. My wardrobe right now is pretty small, some button-ups in plaid and solids, a couple sweaters, and a couple pairs of nice jeans and chinos. My only nice jacket is black so I want something I can wear with brown shoes to bars etc; not even really that set on a blazer.

These aren't bad, but they don't have vents which is a little weird. Maybe this one? despite the ugly ass turtleneck that guy's wearing.

Got my F/W concepts on lock but I am too lazy to go out and buy them. I might make my wife go and buy them for me, she is good at Japan proxying for me.

Then don't buy a blazer, dude - wwm has some cool stuff, so does TOJ if you want a leather jacket
