Econ/finance types get a lot of businesses into trouble. While necessary, sound fiscal choices are not sufficient to making any business, much less a business that requires so much intuition, successful. The problem is that some companies lose site of their mission statement (they are actually useful) and let the bottom line dictate everything. This may work for a few quarters, but it will catch up with you. Sometimes, you have to leave money on the table because it's bad money.

This pretty sily, but I have an excuse for it, since I´m a not a native speaker, or from the states and I haven´t been in the forum for so long...
so, a prelude to my sort of dumb question: What does ccp stand for? I suppose you´re talking about a brand, and i´ve thought of acronyms for it, but none have to mind...

I always forget whether the Carol comes first or the Christian. Not that it's a brand that's particularly relevant to me.

Also, I realized this morning that the circumference of my chest increased an infinitesimal amount, and now some of my button-front shirts pull at the chest. :plain:

Hands-down my favorite book, the circumference of my torso notwithstanding. :slayer:

Seriously, the best 1,100 pages I ever read.

Naturally, I just got back from lifting at the gym.

Why? Because I am stupid and vain, and I never learn.

Also, I'm more or less ok with wearing AA baby rib henleys every day.

Hm. I can see myself spending the next 6 months in your new collared moto, a new pair of apcs, a pair of western-ish heeled boots (I'm in love with margiela), and pretty much nothing else. Maybe some bespoke oxfords, since I can't find any comfortable ones? There's probably room in there for the megaman jacket, but seriously, I'm in a real rut. I might talk to a lady about making my own pair of boots, though; that'd be pretty cool.

Pondering whether to give back a double sided belt from Takeo Kikuchi I got for my birthday from my gf. The belt is bit short for my waist.
I felt bad taking it considering I wanted to breakup with her for a while now.

No, I won't give or sell it on here either.
    Advice please.

Making your own boots would be amazing, that came to mind as I was reading that. I'm thinking natural veg tan leather cowboy boots with a flatter, wider-tipped last, like the Dior boots I sold aeglus (which he makes good use of)

There's some shoemaking schools in Tokyo, something I've always wanted to try out. I find the trial and error R+D time to getting to perfection tedious though, that is why I quit a lot of things in life as a kid I guess.
