I was nearly thinking the same thing-- what can I find in my closet that could work as a costume? I came up with a couple of outfits involving 100% Julius pieces which I haven't worn in over a year. If anyone asks what I am, I'll say I'm a post apocalyptic solider. But I'll likely need to borrow snake's Julius gun holster in order to pull off the look. And I wonder why I don't buy Julius stuff much anymore?

Ugh, that feeling when you want something so bad but you know it's overpriced, and you're too impatient to wait till sales time.

I could just wear my juun j cape, lanvin knee highs, and tim hamitlon leggings/geller gypsy. Call myself a musketeer!

Now if only I had a more adequate hat like the dior/lanvin getup. The John Varvatos one wouldn't kick it.

If you really love it then just buy it at full price. How well is the piece selling so far? If a piece is truly great it will likely sell out before it ever goes on sale. But if the piece goes on sale, then odds are that piece was never really that amazing to begin with. I have noticed this to be true more often that not, but sometimes you don't realize it until a year or two after buying a piece.

I think we need a Halloween costume competition. But not just any competition... the rule should be that all pieces must be newer designer pieces and not something from a costume store or vintage pieces from salvation army, etc.

If I knew there wont be any left come sale time, I'd cop it, but right now I'm not too sure.

Speaking of which, we're overdue for a fit contest now that fall is finally here.
