Try J Crew...but be sure not to wear sneakers. You recent grads think it's cool.

Yeah, I was thinking J. Crew, but they don't have any suits in their store (the men's selection is actually kind of pitiful). The best idea I can come up with is blindly ordering a J. Crew suit off the web and returning it to the physical store if it turns out not to be suitable. Still, J. Crew suits seem expensive for what they are -- has anyone here actually owned one before?

More power to you if you don't get bored to death in accounting. Good luck @ interviews, PS, you should probably do some case competitions.

Consulting, not accounting. :embar: And yeah, I'm getting into some case competitions. Thanks!

Any other thoughts on suits in a fashion-depraved sitting?

Accounting is not for everyone, especially the road to becoming a CA, but dont discourage the good lad. Out of your list, banana republic is your best bet, excluding the Jcrew. Make sure it is not a black suit. Try your best to be as boring in your suit colours as possible, and just try to get a decent fit. Don't wear square toed loafers. And don't wink at the interviewer, something no one discouraged me from doing. I winked my way out of several jobs when I was starting out.

    1) iI was already open before fashion week.
    2) Coralie Gauthier is also pr for Yohji, which is funny.
    3) Kanye going to a party is good because all the morons (most fashion people) hover around him and it means there's more space at the bar.
    4) Lynch is a fucking con artist and just needs the money. He opened a film school without cameras at some point, people had to give him money and meditate.
