Since this RFT is completely derailed with Steve Jobs right now, I too will add that Steve Jobs had a huge impact on my life. My very first computer was an Apple IIe, and I used NeXT machines in college (along with Suns and SGIs) until about 1995-1996 when PCs started taking over (at college).

I also thought I read that Steve Jobs wore vintage Levi's from the 60s exclusively. Obviously money isn't an issue for him, so this doesn't sound farfetched-

Edit- actually I think that's wrong. I guess he wears LVC exclusively?

I've been contacted on eBay and Etsy with lower-than-asking offers on items with nominally fixed prices, so I don't hesitate to do the same. I just feel bad for sending really low offers, although I don't think they're out of line with value of the items, which are often priced high

I grew up on a mac plus. Wizardry, brickles, leprechaun, lemmings (in B&W) and mactrek. Fuck you if you didn't play those.

Damn, $700 is ridiculous, but I would've snapped those up for $100. I should really subscribe to that PSA thread again...

yeah dude i heard that in reality he was just bill gates with a mask like in mission impossible and that bill just got sick of it. we been trolled hard DAMN U MICROSOFT

srsly tho ipods look like the monolith in 2001, and that is all that matters

Also west's collection looks like baby phat. Fok, it's cool and all that he did it; no problems with that (he can wear CCP with south pole jeans if he wants, whatever), but seriously I'm not sure I saw even a single acceptable piece in there (though it's hard to tell) let alone a "collection."

I wish we could give up on this "runway" shit and move to something else entirely. Staged historical pre-enactment battles, maybe? Why not a fucking play? what's the point of this bi-yearly system other than its traditional presence within the establishment? why can't we just have damir design all the costumes for a remake of Dune, and say: "go ye unto your high-design boutique and purchaseth a stillsuit" ? I wish aitor amounted to more than umbro collaborations and like one jacket. I dream of a day when clothing is literally reflective of an environment. I dream of a day when architecture no longer imposes but integrates. I dream of a day when the 90 degree angle is a thing of the past. I dream of a day when we run out of adjectives.
