Just like to take this time to remind readers that LA Guy has a rented storage unit for clothing. He owns a single family home, in Idaho, and also needs to rent a storage unit. It could happen to any of us.

Took my girl out for her birthday last night and had one of the best meals of my life.

Appetizer(s): Marinated Hamachi, Uni, Sea Beans, Harissa
Bone Marrow Toast, Onion Marmalade, Salmon Roe

First Course: Beef Carpaccio, Burrata, Tomato Jam, Porcini Purée, Basil, Watercress
Second Course: Roasted Foie Gras, Peppercorn Biscuit, Chicken Skin, Spiced Honey (Foie Gras was the size of a Filet Mignon, it was heavenly)
Third Course: Crispy Sweetbread, Escarole, Brown Butter, Lemon, Capers, Parsley
Fourth Course: Duck Breast, Leg & Foie Gras Terrine, Chard, Wild Mushroom, Walnuts
Fifth Course: Berkshire Pork Belly, Rock Shrimp, Turnips, Romesco, Sherry Caramel
Dessert: "Snickers" Parfait, Salted Caramel Ice Cream, Peanut Nougatine, Manjari Chocolate Sauce

I had dreams about it

Just wondering, was that at Recette, or was it somewhere else? Been wanting to try that place. Had my first Dutch baby at Spotted Pig over the weekend. That place is awesome.
