My boys going for business I'm just tagging along to ask females on the street where the nearest bars are and if they'd like to partake with me. I got a girl out there too.

You should let me tag along and chronicle "Jet in New York" in exchange for shelter and nourishment. That would be 2012 SW&D Thread of the Year.

Nonsense. Assuming the girl is fit and trim, I don't understand how any red-blooded man could object to a girl in leggings.

Hahahaha Notwithit, I was going to post those exact pants in this thread! When I saw them in GQ or something, I was just fucking floored.

On the plus side, I make excellent drinks.

I smell a documentary! Sort of like, "Are you my mother?" except more along the lines of "Does this fit in here?" We could have behind-the-scenes footage, a blooper reel, visits to tailors, Jet's commentary on a visit to Atelier...this could be a money-maker, SF.

Bars comp me all the time because I show them how to make drinks, no joke. I get alcohol poisoning because of comped drinks, no joke.

Just read this thing as well, came here to quote another part.

" I became a designer because I couldn’t stand the trousers that were available for women. In fact there was no fashion on the market for the modern woman. Her clothes were stuck in various cliches from the past. I felt that women’s wardrobes needed to be reconstructed from scratch."

This kinda captures how I feel about my clothes situation atm, or maybe fashion in general. There's so much I think is cool but not a lot that really resonates with me or that I feel fits my lifestyle and personality. Everything I see is too referential, too basic. Workwear is a costume, MC is loathesome, gothninja is too bleak. I feel like I don't fit into the available boxes, but that's what gets designed for. Maybe this is somehow tied to some modern insecurity about what masculinity means to me. I dunno.

And all it will cost jet is putting me up for the duration of his trip and letting me get the scraps from his plate at the five-star restaurants he'll dine at. He could even cut down on lodging expenses by letting me sleep on the pile of the beater Schneider knits he's put out his Cuban cigars on.

    Varsity jackets are fucking stupid.

No hate (except the hatred I have for varsity jackets, which burns with the fury of a thousand suns)

^^I tried the blue one on the other day, and at 5'9, neither the small or medium fit me very well. Plus, at $100 for synthetic fabric, it just made me want to cop a ToJ or similar.
