I am looking forward to washing my APCs; however, I noticed the washing instructions on the tag and it recommends that the jeans be washed with cold water. 30 degrees to be exact. I know my washer's water doesn't get that cold, or at least I don't think it does. Am I crazy for wanting to pour ice into the load along with my jeans? * Jeans will be washing by themselves because they're that special.*

I washed mine in water as hot as it gets.

since the pants are made in france or tunisia, wouldn't you expect it to be 30C rather than an impossible 30F

Just use the cold water setting on your washer and you'll be fine. I prefer to hand wash mine, but to each his own.

^^^30 degree (F) liquid water; cold fusion must be just around the corner.

Theoretically possible, due to something called "Freezing point depression": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freezing-point_depression, especially if you use a brine, which is something APC has recommended in the past. Still...

sure he could dump a ton of salt in there or take his washer to a different pressure-controlled environment where he could then use 30F liquid to wash it .....
