I highly recommend drinking in the street while you're there. It's pretty much the only thing I liked about Vegas (although the hooker cards were kinda funny, albeit in a sad sort of way).

The beer selection was pretty terrible, although it's probably improved since I was there in...2007? Something like that. There's a local brewery called Sin City that had a decent stout. Nice and roasty. Probably super-fresh from the brewery when I had it.

Also don't forget to have at least one yard margarita; doubled.

The bleach will suck the color out, most likely leaving you with a yellowish off-white color rather than actual white.

Look, have you ever seen a Saville row suit? Or work from a large and modern factory like TF (from Zegna couture). Fact is the primacy of bespoke is, very often, a myth. Sure, in theory the artisan should do better but in practice I'll take what my friends jokingly refer to as "lovingly handmade in a factory".

Ok, in reality I'll easily grant you that most factories don't operate at the level I'm refering to (i.e. having people beyond foremen teach and optimize the process) and that, for example, top Italian or french tailors are better at making suits than the english ones....

However the folly of underestimating a good factory product and overestimating a tailored one has got to stop. I like the idea of bespoke and the "romance" associated with it but there is no reason to present it for what it isn't. Similarly while I do like the "artisan-like" quality of Paul Harnden I must admit it is, simply speaking, shoddily made.

quality and design is one thing, but there's something intriguing about the exclusivity associated with a bespoke linen suit from napoli along with a higher than normal risk of violent death.

Nah, I have no problem with the women selling it, provided they're doing so as a rational choice and in no way out of coercion. I just think it's kinda sad that the johns are paying for it.

Thanks for the advice. Guess I'll have to flip it rather than risk making the shirt look like someone peed on it. :(

Oh, like I said, the idea and romanticism surrounding bespoke is very enticing. If I ever tire of fashion I'll probably start getting some old Italian to make suits for me. I have a few bespoke garments and they're cool and all.

Yeah getting drunk in the street and then visiting buffets was my favorite part about Vegas, other than taking my girlfriend to those topless pools, posting pictures to Facebook, and watching her conservative friends back home in Korea freak out
