Only if used in interesting and modern ways. Like that Gucci bag I was gushing over that MrPorter carried last season. But with both brands being exposed differently I just haven't had the time to dislike TB and his quirky small flag stripe.

The infamous post back to back. My god the second watch in the second post *squeal*. Keep in mind most of these pictures are obviously from the "fashion crowd" or models.

I actually like it when it's worked into a garment, like when it's used on the cardigans in that post, but this is kinda annoying to me. I'd rather see it worked in some other way.

Yeah, the above is what I'm talking about.

    This looks real good, though:

    Serious question:

I have a bunch of navy trousers and a bunch of navy Jil outerwear pieces. How to wear together, navy on navy, without looking like an idiot?

For pants and I assume sweaters or jackets...unless they are an exact match you just can't do it.

with more blue or some black (0)

edit: when you said outerwear... what is outwear for Dallas?

I mean in cold places no one cares if you have a big navy duffle coat and are wearing navy pants and it looks a little funny because we're all just trying to stay warm.

Sorry, I should've been more specific when asking for help. I attend University at Ann Arbor in Michigan, so it gets cold, cold, cold here during the winter.

I have a few pairs of Epaulet trousers (different textures - cotton and wool) that I plan on wearing this winter. I also have some Jil outerwear, including a insulated nylon peacoat and a light bomber jacket. The bomber jacket and the peacoat are the same shade of navy, and only half a shade darker than my Epaulet trousers.

I should've been a little more thoughtful before kopping F/W pieces. Thankfully I have a black ToJ coming in, so that'll make it less... completely monotone. But I'd like to be able to work with my trousers and navy outerwear pieces to assemble a few different outfits...

Also have a navy vest and a navy M65 jacket. Kind of a, wtf was I thinking moment right here. Goddamnit lol.

I don't like it when people buy something just for the Gucci stripe. Especially when it's plainly obvious they don't know the first thing about style.

snowman, that's really dope, but I feel like the reason why it's dope is because of the pieces and how they're styled and not because of the strictly monotonous color scheme.

Of course, I don't really know what I'm talking about, so you can just feel free to ignore me, lol. :embar:
