Uhh, is he wrong? And if he isn't, do you think the media you consume doesn't inform your opinions, even when you know it's in jest?

The fabrics and construction are terrific, but the fits are pretty much potluck. I think that we'd see a lot more Kimmel and Stephan Schneider if they made their clothes fit more proportionally. I know that it's on purpose, but the truth is that few people who buy designer clothes want to look like Snoop. They might want to be Snoop. but that's something else altogether.

actually I think most people like the way schneider fits. I have begun to really dislike really fitted knitwear in particular. maybe you're right though.

“rape a pregnant bitch and call it a threesome.”
“Starve her til I carve her and shove her in the Rover, cut her like a barber with Parkinson’s disorder,”

I could pretty much find something like this in every single song. Rooted in fantasy or not, these kinds of things build an accepting atmosphere for sexism.

But I know being anti-sexism is mostly frowned upon on SF so I'll leave it at that.

I hate how casual the NW is, I feel like a goddamn spectacle when I even wear a button down.

On a positive note, some seriously cute girls at school this year. :nodding:

An accepting atmosphere for sexism? No, it doesn't. You don't give people enough credit, it is easy to realize the difference between fiction (i.e. fucking around) and reality. Do Korean revenge films make it acceptable to kill everyone cause your girlfriend died? GTA acceptable to beat hookers? I would argue that they don't even build an atmosphere of acceptance, as they are, like music, entertainment. The audience knows that it's entertainment.

I know you love to be that guy who is the lone knight for feminism and everything, and often times I support you, but you are wrong in this case.

    ^^

Inform my opinion about what? About rape? That, somehow, subconsciously over time I'll be like "Haha, well, rape isn't that bad."? It's all braggadocio, nothing more.

And I know that the media informs my opinion. But not about bombastic shit like rape or sexism or beating women. I have studied quite a bit of feminist studies (mostly about women writers and women in Caribbean literature), so I'm not even someone who is overly manly flannel tractor MUSCLES, either.

Bottom line is, you guys are basically the soccer moms who didn't want their children to listen to Eminem in the 90s because they'll turn out just like him. I hope you're ok with that.

Moralistic critiques of art are pretty much the poison on society. :foo:
