Haven't been here myself but this outlet seems promising.
luisaviaroma is in florence too
i can't believe ppl on here actually resole their clark's desert boots once worn down
they look pretty cool with the thick ass vibram soles on them
Have you ever kept a pair of boots long enough for them to need resoling?
Normally I don't like to hate on MC just to hate but after starting to read this thread I felt pretty disgusted:
You take off your fucking shoes when you go into someone's house ok. Don't you know what kind of shit (sometimes literally) you're stepping in? Seriously don't get the responses at all. I thought in Korea when my book I was teaching from said "HEY KOREAN EXCHANGE STUDENT, DON'T TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES WE DON'T DO THAT IN WESTERN COUNTRIES" that it was hilariously wrong and that you'd get beaten for it. I didn't realized that I was horribly wrong!
PS if any of you wear your shoes in your house you are also pretty fucking disgusting and need to fix your disgusting habits. Unless of course those shoes are indoors only. (before someone gives me shit about pics I take inside, I clean the floor right away and it's near the door already. Asia/Midwest gave me good habits about cleaning) If you come to my house and don't take off your shoes I'll throw you out the window because god damn you are disgusting.
I take off my shoes for epic fades on my socks.
Also, Asian. If you don't walk around barefoot indoors, you're not living life.
yeah i would never wear shoes inside, I don't think that's an exclusively Asian thing at all.
Hell, since moving to New York I don't even wear street clothes inside, especially not in my bedroom. I just keep some sweats around and stuff that I change into when I want to lounge around.
It's like a different kind of dirty in a city though, like if i'm home I can be out doing something like fishing or hiking and get muddy and nasty and sweaty and not thing twice about eating something with my hands, that kind of "dirty" doesn't phase me, but here if i so much as touch a door handle i'm scrubbing myself down before touching something that is going in my body. maybe a little too OCD but whatever
I don't understand the wearing shoes inside your house concept, I'm barefoot as soon as I pass the door. Parquet floors under your feet, feels good man.
You don't wear shoes inside in Scandinavia either.
We always wore/wear LL Bean moccasins around the house
I guess that's the suburban white people version of those asian slippers
I don't get wearing your shoes inside if not simply for the fact that not wearing shoes is more comfortable.
I missed plenty of terrible jokes on sitcoms growing up because I was too busy wondering why no one ever took their shoes off in the living room.
I don't get it either, man. People say your house doesn't really get dirty if you wear shoes in, but when I have friends over at my place there is sand/dirt everywhere on the hardwood.
