Food-wise, DC isn't an amazing city, but I'd recommend getting some Ethiopian while you're there if you don't have easy access to it at home. I'm partial to the veggie platter at Etete (at 9th & U NW in "Little Ethiopia", close to the 9:30 Club and DC9). DC9 has/had a kind of fun hipster dance party on Friday nights (there was an incident there a little while ago, and I don't know what they still do or don't do in terms of live music and DJs), but it can be a total shitshow.

Unrelated question: How does sizing on Adidas Stan Smiths compare to Chucks/CPs/Brannock device?

yup, I enjoy that too. That's why I dress the way I do. Its really that simple. This forum is suppose to be about a collective hobby we share.

This crap about what lands you women is irrelevant since you aren't getting women because of your clothes unless you're throwing dollar bills around. Also, I'm not rich...I pay for my own clothes I just don't have a minimum wage paying job.

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I really disliked the Ethiopian food I had in DC. (Don't remember where I went, but it was somewhere on U St. near the Whole Foods over there). I tend to like just about any type of food, but something about the textures/flavors just didn't work for me. Might have been that specific place though. On the other hand, there was an Ethiopian coffee shop near there where I had the best coffee I can remember.

I might buy a brooks brothers kids suit. it seems like it will fit and they are hella cheap compared to the adult ones, lol.

You were probably at Lalibela, which is practically across the street from the Whole Foods at 14th & P.

Ethiopian's not for everyone. Plenty of people don't like the injera or some or the spices they use.

I think you're right about the place. The name sounds right. I thought Ethiopian would be right up my alley because I tend to like strong spices. I was expecting something like Indian food, which I love. But it was really different. I plan on trying it again though. I think one experience isn't really enough to decide whether I like something.

Tom Haverford: Brooks Brothers Boys, it's like the cuts are slimmer, and it's cheaper. Win win.
