ive kinda got used to the column

i use subscriptions now, whereas before i didnt care to. so when i log in i go right to subscriptions and its easier to find the threads i frequent. (rft, waywt, baller/conceptual outerwear  )

^I see that as a problem. It auto subs threads I post in so I don't even waste time reading the actual forums anymore. B&S is a bore too, used to be fun picking up quirky pieces after they been pricedropped a dozen times. Now it is too much work and Snowman will kop before me anyway.

P.S. I know you don't want those white Ann Boots Snow. As a black guy I look as if I am doing economically well when wearing all white. let me have the chance to wear all white!!!

^ I don't care who gets the white boots but one of you two needs to grab the sz.40 rubinos from me.

Yeah, i'm not sure subscription shortcut is a good thing for the forum vitality.

If this forum runs off of limited ad revenue, shouldn't we put up with the ads to "support the forum?" It's not like they are interactive or pop-up. YMMV. The new B&S doesn't seem to bother me at all, and the search is VASTLY VASTLY improved. It's weird that SW&D seems to have the most backlash with the changes, while MC appears to be business as usual. You'd think it would be the opposite as the MC crowd should be older and in theory embrace change/tech stuff less.

No, they lack any creative impetus and are happiest when following rules, no matter how arbitrary. It makes perfect sense.

The ads don't bug me though.

    mmmm...ann d boots soo good:D
you could have kopped the balenciaga arm warmers from me tho :embar:
are you around the same size? 41/46/s

its impossible to navigate on the daily imo. too many threads on the front page of sw&d. most of the good ones are stickied so thats ok

i might kick myself for passing on those rubinos later on

i wear soccer shorts and a nike training top every day. I haven't done laundry in weeks. Summer + unemployment = slovenly synthese.

Last night I wore a tee, pants and boots and almost died.

    - I barely check the forums now that they aren't on the main page. It's mostly peeking at my "subscribed" threads and then moving on.
    - The search function sucks now, especially within a thread.
    - I seem to miss a lot of posts now that you get sent to the final post in a thread instead of the first new one.
    - New B&S is a lot more streamlined, but combing through it is a bit more tedious since checking an item and then going back sends you to the first page of the forum.

    1. I don't remember the last time I checked the first page of the forum.
    2. The user cp is all fucked up too many complaints to list that make navigating a pain as compared to how I used to
    3. No search within thread sucks dick
    4. Totally agreed with third point also.
    5. Only check the forum a few times when I'm home now, was more active before and I think only decreasing.
    6. Seasonal shift makes no diff to me the sluggishness will continue into the fall though it will pick up a little more.

click the last number under the "threads" column instead of clicking last post. will bring you to the TOP of the last page.
i had that issue too, then i discovered this is the best way.

I just click the thread title (from subscriptions) which takes you to the first new/haven't read post.

Dude I am that 41/44/xs! represent!
