I have a pair of the lace-up version of these. I wouldn't recommend them.

The Corcorans? They're not really my style anymore but for years they were the best boot going, I wore them to hell and back and they always treated me right. What did you not like about them?

The leather's kinda tough (not in a good way, and I can't figure out how to soften it up), and they dig into the back of my heel, near the achilles tendon, in an unpleasant way when I put insoles in them. Also, the toebox is pretty bulbous, and it doesn't seem like it'll flatten out regardless of what you do to them.

Hmmm, you're right about the toe box being hard, but that is by design and actually was a selling point for me. I liked having steel toe like form w/o actual steel toes. As I recall, there was two types of leather, one hard one soft for different parts of the shoe. They fit me great with insoles but of course that is always subjective.
Anyway, no worries, just curious why you did not like them.

Yeah, I'd probably wear them if it weren't for the really painful way they dig into the back of my ankles. The cheap-ish leather and bulbous toebox are sub-optimal, but neither is a deal-killer for a pair of beater boots that feels pretty much indestructible.

I wasn't crazy about the high-gloss shine they had when I first got them, but it came off pretty easily with rubbing alcohol.

Is there any reputable shoe places I can send my boots to for a topy sole? I don't have a cobbler within 1OO miles of where I live.

Fan-made (not mine) video that combines one of my favorite songs from the 80s (Images of Heaven/Peter Godwin) and some pretty cool 60s fashion footage....

Me too. Especially outerwear! I'm way too large and in charge to be running around in leggings and wedges.

Bahahaha my antivirus blocked the site.

Did she say how much they are expected to stretch out by?

RFT: My brother said my outfit today was ugly after my cousin complimented my CP grey suede Bballs. I was wearing a Uniqlo tee, Silent jeans and the bballs. My bro was wearing a BR plaid, 7FAM jeans and prada/gucci ugly as fuck slip-ons. :fu:

How's the sneakers-jeans-tee combo ugly. It's plain (it's fucking summer), but definitely not ugly.
