After having lived most of my adult life in a city where designer clothes are double the US retail price, and if on sale, still more than the US retail price, I will be happy when I get to move to NY, and experience real sales. I'd be happy with a lot of C21 junk, really.

Tokyo for a year or so, while I work on some new ventures and do lots of paperwork, and then NYC

Oliver Peoples/Takahiro Miyashita - I've been thinking about these a lot lately.

I took my CP training boots to a cobbler to get them stretched (and to get the other zipper slit cut; I have no idea why they leave it uncut). The woman who helped me was really impressed with them and said she'd look them up. Hopefully they're still doing the women's line and I wasn't lying to her.

She also said I had great "man hair", which a) sounds weird and creepy, like she's talking about my chest hair or something, and b) assuming she meant my head hair, isn't particularly true.

PSA for Philly people: Benjamin's on the Row only charges $20 for shoe stretching - even if they have to re-last them - and they'll re-stretch them for free if you need them to.
